Choose wisely

I think that articles wont change the way people will still think about myspace, facebook, they will still continue to lie about there age an continue to be on chat-lines. I think that myspace and facebook should look at new comers profiles a little bit closer like if you are under a certain age then they should erase your profile and not let you create another one even if you get a new e-mail address. And myspace should have a certain age limit as well like you need to be at least the age of 14 and over then you should be able to get a profile.

The internet is a very powerful place. It can be used for good and for evil like there are many people on the internet that are looking for young people to kidnap rape and do other things to young people if you haven’t guessed what kind of people I am talking about they are child predators. Child predators are looking to hurt young people and they are doing it through a powerful source the internet. Some important things are not to give people your phone number over the internet no matter how long you’ve known them even if there sexy as heck. Another thing is not to give anybody your address no matter who they are that’s how little kids get kidnapped. Also don’t give anybody your real name because they can Google you or anything. Next thing is to let your parents know what you are doing always get permission. Also don’t use your real picture, and choose your friends wisely on the net. Then the most important rule never ever meet up with anybody no matter who they are, that’s how little kids get snatched up and hurt and sometimes killed.

Letter to the President

7/26/07

President George W. Bush

The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington, DC 20500

Dear Mr. George W. Bush,

I am a high school student going to the tenth grade and I am very concerned about how long the Iraq war will be going on. I am concerned I might be going to this war. I have a couple of family members that went to this war at the age of 17 and older. I decided to write this letter to let you know that this war is a waste of time and money, and to let you know that innocent soldiers are dying at this war and you need to do something about it whether it be taking soldiers out of the war or whatever you need to do to stop this from escalating any farther.

Some other things that I would like to state is how you are spending all this money on trying to rebuild Iraq if you have the power to try and do that then you have the power to stop this war. I am concerned on how this war is affecting a lot of families. This war has brought a lot of grief to families all over the world. What I don’t get is what are we going to gain from this war; are we supposed to succeed are we supposed to grow from this war? The only thing that I see is that we are losing mentally, economically, and physically in this war.

Another thing that I don’t get is how you promised to have all these meetings with these different families 2 to 3 years ago. Why haven’t you discussed what is going on in the war with these parents; are you hiding something from us? I have also read and heard on websites that when soldiers die, their parents, families, and friends are not notified right away. To me, you are fooling us citizens.

I really want to know when this war is going to end because I can’t see or hear one of my family members or any of the other troops dying in this senseless war to me over money and power and credibility over deaths. I don’t think me or any other family members can go through any more grief. I think that its time that we take a stand for what we believe. It’s time to show that we care.
